Denver Birth Doula
Initial Interview
This is a (free!) 30 minute meeting with you, your primary support person, and me to determine if we are a good fit for working together. This can be virtual or at a coffee shop. Bring all your questions!
Prenatal Meetings
We will meet at your home 2 times before birth. This allows us to review your birth preferences, discuss resources, practice self-advocacy, and figure out what support and comfort measures resonate the most with you. I am available to you via phone, text, or email during business hours. Starting at 37 weeks, I will be on call 24/7 until your baby is born.
Labor and Birth
We will be in touch once labor begins to decide when I should arrive. I will provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. I will also work with your partner to help guide their support, and we act as a team to provide you with as much comfort as possible. I can meet at your home or at the location where you will be giving birth. I will stay with you until 1-2 hours after the placenta is born.
Postpartum Support
After your baby is born, we will meet at your home for 1 postpartum check-in. During this time, I want to check in with you and your family to see how things are going, provide basic feeding support, and provide referrals to community resources as desired. This is also an opportunity to discuss your birth story, if you are ready to do so.

Payment
The retainer fee for my services is $500 and is due at the signing of our contract, before our first prenatal visit. The final payment is due at 37 weeks, before I begin on-call hours. I accept debit and most major credit cards (except American Express), Zelle, Venmo, and CashApp.
Birth doula fees are typically considered eligible for reimbursement through your FSA or HSA. Some insurance companies offer reimbursements for birth doulas. Call yours to double check!
I am now accepting Medicaid and CHP+ clients!
If finances are a barrier, please contact me. I do accept a certain number of sliding scale payments each year, no questions asked.
